Travel Diary
When I was staying in Bethany Beach this summer, I went on a day trip to Cape May. We took the ferry in Lewes (which is about a 30 minutes’ drive from Bethany) to Cape May.
So what to do in Cape May?
We bought an extra ticket for a trolley ride around town when we purchased our combo ticket for the ferry. Unfortunately the trip I really was excited about, going pass the lighthouse wasn`t available. So we settled for the ‘Tales of the Town’ tour. It`s still a nice way for first time visitors to see a bit of Cape May. It takes you along the houses, B&B`s and the beach of Cape May.
And of course you should snoop around in the many little shops that there are. ‘Whale`s Tale’ was one of my favorites, because of the diversity of souvenirs and jewelry. But there are many more!
If you`re spending more time here, visit the lighthouse, spend some time at the beach or you can even go whale watching.
