This photo really doesn’t do Playa Maroma justice. I was so overwhelmed I couldn’t think about capturing it on film.
Well, first off it is voted 2nd in the world and THE BEST beach in Mexico by the Travel Channel.
It is a very long and wide beach with talcum powder white sand, the water is exceptionally beautiful– a turquoise with green and blue slices of color. The day I was there it was–and I am not exaggerating…90 degrees in the shade, and the sand was cool to the touch.
Many beaches along the Riviera Maya are quite nice but this one is EXCEPTIONAL, in my humble opinion 🙂
Cancun-Riviera Maya, Mexico

I`ve never been to this specific beach, but I`ve been in mexican Riviera Maya for aprox 4 weeks in my life. Definitely the most beautiful ocean and beaches I`ve ever seen! It`s really so close to paradise.
Plus, all that zone has high level hotels and it`s a place that lives from tourism, therefore, they`ve perfect treat to tourists and everything is made for our pleasure. You can rent a car
or hire a driver, or go on tours in an amazing air conditioner perfect car, while crossing a rainforest that has more than 40 celsius degrees, which is glory (to be insude the car with air conditioner!). And the food in the restaurants is great quality too!
I know question was “favorite beach” and not “favorite place”. But all those aspects I said, makes being in that beach area a super perfect time at the beach!
The sand there is the whitest (exactly as in Dominican Republic: they`re both very similar, and I adore those beaches!)
It`s a must, really!
Another beaches!

Thanks for sharing your most beautiful beach! I’ve only been to Mexico as a port destination while on a Caribbean cruise. But I do remember the water being a beautiful turquoise color, white sand,… I wouldn’t mind visiting this beach 😉
