The Amalfi Coast or Costiera Amalfitana is famous for its beautiful scenery along the coastline. So, we didn`t want to miss out on that! We were staying in Sorrento, which is a great start to ride the Amalfi Drive.
After our day trip to Capri, we decided to drive to Amalfi. We passed the picturesque Positano. (Unfortunately we didn`t have time to make a stop, definitely next time!). This route is made of hairpin turns and blind corners, but delivers stunning views. That`s why I put together a series of photos of Amalfi Coast I took, so you can have a look yourself of how amazing this drive really is.
We only made it to Amalfi, because it was already getting late. However, we had a cappuccino and walk around for a little bit and found this yummy pasticceria, called Andrea Pansa. For those who`ve been reading my website for a while, know I love pastries and chocolate 🙂 (Check out my Top 5 of Pastries and Desserts). So I couldn`t leave this place without buying a few delicious pastries … a perfect ending to a perfect day!
