Meet the little fella that got saved 2 days ago by Dean, our guide at Litchfield National Park. It was my last day in Litchfield NP, up in the Northern Territory in Australia when my guide turned back the car as he had seen something on the side of the road. It was a dead wallaby, but what I didn`t see, but my local guide did, was that the wallaby was a mummy with a little Joey in her pouch. He pulled the little one out and saved it from dehydrating and eventual dying. I had it on my lap during the ride back to Darwin and couldn`t stop thinking that if he hadn`t had such a good eye for these things, this little one wouldn`t have made it. Little Joey is safe in the hands of an animal hospital, taken care of and happy & healthy, thanks to Dean!
