… literally that is, at the exhibition “Luz” de Carlos Saura.
“The first time I visited Avilés I saw the Plaza de España, broad and generous, It was the crossroads where all the life of the town converged
Its light and people are a pleasure to my eyes” ~ Carlos Saura
With this exhibition, film director Carlos Saura‘s takes us on an exploration of the light seen through the eyes. He does this with light effects, shadows, colors and much more.
Even some of the bloggers were in the exhibition!
I felt very involved in this exhibition, because of all the activities you could join. For example there was a camera where you could take your own photo and it would get projected on to a wall for others to see, hence how the bloggers where involved in the exhibition.
This artist really knew how to engage his public by letting them be a part of the exhibition and letting them discover it themselves. Another experience, while laying down, swept away by classical music you could admire paintings projected on a ceiling above you…
This exhibition runs till September 11 2011 at the uniquely setting of Centro Niemeyer. It`s an exhibition for all ages in my opinion.
Travelbloggers in the photos: @velvetescape, @WildJunket, @JohnONolan, Ana from @tripwolf_ES and @insidetravellab.
I was invited to attend this exhibition by Asturian Tourist Board. However the opinions of this post are my own.
