Are you also trilled, like me, when you get a room with a view? Then check out the best hotel views I had on my travels!
The first one on my list is Hotel Ullensvang in Norway. I was on a guided tour by bus, so your hotels are reserved for you. Little did I know that this hotel we stayed in had such a gorgeous location. Okay, the tour guide said that this would be something special, but they say stuff like that all the time 🙂 But he was right on with this one!!!
Number 2: I love New York, so I try to go as often as I can. And this time I went for 5 days. So I searched the internet for a good deal and a hotel close to Central Park, because I wanted to take the time to really experience the park. Because on my previous stays, I went for a walk, but didn’t actually had time to take it all in. So, I ended up booking the Holiday Inn Midtown. Boy, was I surprised when I saw my room, what a view!!!
Also one of my favorites: number 3, Hotel Rydges Lakeland Resort, Queenstown (NZ). Again, didn’t expect to have a room with such a nice lake view! You can have a look for yourself:
Number 4 is actually a hostel and not a hotel, The Treehouse Hostel, (Mission Beach). But it definitely deserves a spot on this list, because of its location. This was a wonderful place to stay. It’s located in a rainforest in North Queensland, Australia. The people were so friendly, the views amazing, just lovely!
And to end my list, number 5: Omni LA Hotel in Los Angeles. Here I had a room on one of the top levels which provided a great view on the Walt Disney Concert Hall!
I have to say, I’ve been pretty lucky with hotels with nice views so far, without having to ask or pay extra for it 🙂 Let me know the best hotel views you had, through filling out the box beneath and uploading your picture!

At Ubud, Bali
This is the view I had from the hotel I stayed in while visiting Ubud, Bali in Indonesia. The hotel is called Pande Permai which is located just off of …
Update: this was definitely a room with a view in Sydney.
