When I got back from my trip to Uluru I had a 24hours stopover in Sydney before my flight back to London and then onwards to Brussels. Perfect opportunity for me to explore Sydney for a few hours and get a good night’s sleep. I stayed at the Sydney Bayview Boulevard Hotel. The description on the internet said: “Treat yourself to stunning views of the picturesque Sydney skyline and harbor while basking in world-class hospitality and service.” And they weren`t lying!
I arrived in the evening and the first thing I checked out at my hotel room was the view. And I was speechless…
Right in front of me was the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbor Bridge, all light up. Millions of other lights brightening the sky at night.
I had to pinch myself that I was actually standing in this room overlooking this amazing view over a city on the other side of the world. Pure happiness was rushing through me, I`m a lucky woman, able to travel the world and see all these wonderful places!
All freshened up in the morning – wouldn`t you be if you could sleep in one of these? –
I decided to make the most of my hours before my flight in the afternoon. But not before taking a few moments to take in the sunrise over Sydney Harbor and the gorgeous view from my room.
(I could have easily just sat down and watch this for hours, but that`s all I had, a couple of hours, so off I went!)
Next up: seeing the Sydney Opera House.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the staff was helpful & friendly the room comfortable, but the view made my stay unforgettable. I even have to reconsider my Top 5 of Hotel Views!
I got a complimentary upgrade and breakfast offered by Hotel Bayview Boulevard, but as always the opinions are my own. Thanks to Nikon for letting me test their camera gear.
