Ok, we all know there is no comfier bed than your own! But if you’re on vacation, it’s always nice to have a comfortable bed, right? Once I slept at a hotel in a bed that was so hard, I wondered if the floor wouldn’t be softer 🙂 A comfortable bed is worth a lot! And I think the hotels get this. They are trying to focus on those aspects as well. Besides offering spacious rooms and free (well, that depends) wireless internet, the hotels are also offering different kinds of pillows to choose from to make your stay more comfortable! These were the hotels I found the mattresses were lovely, the beds were comfortable and I slept like a baby.
1. All beds in Norway
I know, this may sound strange, but I say this because in all the hotels I slept in (and if you’re on a trip through the country, you end up in quiet a few), the beds were all comfortable. I think it had something to do with an extra soft layer on the mattress.
2. Doubletree Paradise Valley Resort, Scottsdale (USA)
Here they offer plush-top mattresses with luxurious linens topped with a down comforter and a supply of jumbo pillows!
3. Marriott Newark Airport Hotel, New Jersey (USA)
Even though this hotel is located at the airport, you don’t hear the airplanes. And the beds are Marriott quality: nice and comfy!
4. Omni Hotel LA (USA)
The rooms offer king or double beds with triple sheeting on beds and foam or feather pillows are available. Next to this, they also offer rooms with great views (as you can see in my top 5 of hotels with nicest views)!
5. Iberostar Andalucia Playa, Costa de la Luz (Spain)
Well, I have to be honest, I’ve stayed in a few hotels of the Iberostar chain, and I just like them 🙂 They offer nice rooms, comfy beds and the service is great!
SWEET DREAMS!!!
