Overlooking the lifeguard stand at Fort Lauderdale Beach
Great Fort Lauderdale Beaches are known for their miles of sun-kissed sand. It`s the perfect spot for people watching, relaxing and to have a swim in the warm Atlantic waters. If you`re lucky you might even spot a turtle, as from March till October it`s Sea Turtle Nesting Season. Nearly 90% of sea turtle nesting in the U.S. occurs in Florida. The turtles will return to their home beaches to lay eggs for the rest of their lives.
Fort Lauderdale Beach is only steps away from the lovely B Ocean Fort Lauderdale. My favorite hotel during my trip through Florida, because of the refreshing vibe and the gorgeous views over the sea. (All rooms have ocean view!)
*I was invited on this trip by Visit Florida, but all opinions are my own.

I have always wanted to see sea turtle nesting season! I bet it’s incredible!

I wish I`d seen one too. I was there in the right season, but unfortunately with limited time, so I only saw the places on the beach where the nests were, no turtle. Hopefully I`ll see one one day.

I’ve only been to Disney Land…I need to return to Florida and actually EXPLORE the state….or any state really. I’ve only been to two US States….which is sad considering I’m just north in Canada! Beautiful sunny day in this photo!
