The other day I got a nomination from my good friend, Abi at Inside The Travel Lab to participate at “7 Links”. Tripbase started a cool project where bloggers publish 7 links from their blog they`ve written over time. You could call it a walk down memory lane!
There are 7 categories and even though it was said it wouldn`t take long to put this post together, because it`s a compilation of posts already written, it did however take me some time. Maybe because to me it was the perfect timing to look back on my blogging adventure. I`ve been blogging over two years now and I enjoyed every moment of it.
Writing about my passion “travel”, sharing my experiences and inspiring (well, I hope I do inspire a few of you!) to go out and discover the world, is what I love most! It`s been a wonderful journey so far. I`ve met so many amazing people already and I can`t wait what the future has in store for me… But enough about that, you guys want to see my 7 links. So, without further ado, here they are:
My most BEAUTIFUL post
Off to a difficult start! Most beautiful in the way that it was beautiful to me at the moment I was experiencing it: Helicopter Flight over the Grand Canyon. And even though I wasn`t even blogging back then and the video isn`t the best quality, I still hope to share with others just how amazing such an adventure is! Another one that is beautiful to me is: 3 Days in New York in terms I have a soft spot for New York City and in this post I try to show other travelers how to explore this vibrant city.
My most POPULAR post
That would be World Most Beautiful Beaches, probably because I`m the creator of BeachThursday on Twitter. Or simply because there are many beach lovers out there 😉
My most CONTROVERSIAL post
This is a tough one. I`m probably not controversial enough, note to self: ‘Write a controversial post’!
My most HELPFUL post
That would be my “places to visit” posts, for instance my places to visit in Rome. Just the other day I got this lovely comment on Twitter:
Having a few hours to enjoy Rome? Make the most out of them by reading this @IsabellesTravel’s info: http://t.co/UZirXIw (By @luisa_GB)
And
Thanks @IsabellesTravel’s for recommending Giolitti to get a gelato in Rome. We found it on our way to Fontana di Trevi. It was SO GOOD!!
This definitely made my day! 🙂
A post whose success SURPRISED you
Relaxing Vacations Spots. Looks like people once and awhile need some time to unwind and are on the lookout for vacations spots where they can relax.
A post I feel DIDN`T GET the attention it deserved
One of my latest posts actually: my trip to Uluru. Because this trip had such an impact on me, I thought I would be the same for my readers.
The post that I am MOST PROUD OF
That would be the photo posts I`ve been publishing lately. Photography is something I definitely want to proceed in and seeing the results I`ve been having makes me proud. The different parks around the world is one of my favorites, but the Red Centre of Australia is my post I`m most proud of because of the shots I was able to make.
One of the rules is to nominate 5 other bloggers:
